Are you putting on weight on parts of your body that you can NEVER seem to get rid of?

If that sounds anything like what you’re grappling with, please continue reading…

One of the most common adverse effects of having excessive estrogen is that you tend to amass a lot of fat in areas like your belly, butt and legs. And as we all know, this can be problematic.

The following are three simple techniques you can adopt today to STOP this fat storage and get rid of the bulk on those ‘difficult’ parts of your body.

Step#1: Cut down your consumption of foods that produce unwanted estrogen in your body.

Besides unnaturally increasing your insulin levels, eating too much refined carbs, sugar and soy can make you obese and unhealthy

And it doesn’t end there;

Sugar can also increase the production of estradiol from testosterone – leading to even more fat storage. Be smart and eliminate refined sugar from your diet if you want to shed pounds.

Step#2: Eat foods that have high amounts of Diindolymethane (DIM), which destroys ‘bad’ estrogen.

Veggies like cabbage, spinach, bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower support the body’s efforts to eliminate ‘bad’ estrogen.

Additionally, broccoli is known to have special phytonutrients that assist the liver in getting rid of unwanted estrogen and fights the development of breast cancer.

You’ve probably heard this a million times since childhood, but it’s true; eat MORE veggies if you want to stay healthy and break the fat storing cycle.

Step#3: Boost the production of your stomach acid and digestive enzymes.

One of the most common causes of estrogen dominance is an inefficient digestive system. If the production of acid in your stomach is low, food tends to pass through without being properly digested. This means your body is not able to get the most from your estrogen-rich meals.

But you can simply reverse this condition by adding a few fermented foods to your diet.

These are a few of my favorites:

  1. Raw Sauerkraut (I usually mix it with scrambled eggs)

  2. Pickles

  3. Yoghurt (organic is great, but raw is even better)

  4. Kefir (especially good for people who are lactose intolerant)

  5. Kombucha NOTE: All these items must be ‘unpasteurized’ or contain ‘live’ cultures.

Another equally great way to lower estrogen levels and get them under control is to perform special exercise routines. This is sort of a physical way of managing ‘bad’ estrogen, while keeping those ‘difficult’ areas in shape.

Exercise is the BEST way to drop unwanted body fat, but only exercise that is geared for fat loss. If you jump on cardio machines at the same pace for long periods of time, all you’re doing is wasting time and burning as much muscle as fat. Not good!
